About This ProjectI originally designed this pattern for my travel site, 2coollizards.com. I now offer it on this site as a printable coloring page, printable stickers, and for this applique design. |
SuppliesPattern Click the link below or the following image to go directly to the color book page. For this project I used Desert Landscape and Lizards 1 pages. I used the images in the original size printed. When you get to that page, you can also print a pretty cactus trio, and use watercolor pens to fill it in. Project Supplies One 9" x 9" piece of base fabric (white works well) One 9" x 9" piece of stabilize (for machine embroidery and satin stitching around applique pieces) One 4" x 9" piece of sky fabric One 7" x 9" piece of ground fabric 1/3 yard fusible web Scraps for lizard, cactus, rocks, plants, borders, hanging sleeve and binding Backing piece and batting (or fusible fleece) sized to fit your finished piece (the block above measures 9" x 9" - remember that your block will be larger if you add a border) Blendable thread for machine or hand embroidery Sewing Supplies
