Paint & Palette Knife
Use texture & palette knife to create a semi abstract cat paintingIn loving memory of Annie - a very special cat Also see: Painting Lessons |
Gift Of LoveI created this painting for my daughter, as a gift of love. Her cat, Annie, was precious to her, living until the age of 19. She provided many happy years to my daughter. While visiting them in Seattle, I took a photo of Annie. She had climbed up onto a picnic table and sat on a piece of sliced log. She looked as if she owned the place. Annie crossed the rainbow bridge the following year. I remembered the photo and decided to use it as inspiration for this painting, which I presented to my daughter as a special memorial to Annie. IMPORTANT: I created a video for this painting tutorial. It is on my youtube channel. Please watch the video for full instructions and demonstration.
