Water Block 10Water Block Ten is made up of 8 pieces. This block is the first block of row six. The block consists of sand and water, with two reeds rising up from the sand. These reeds must line up with the reeds in block 8, so precise sewing is required. Measures 10.5" wide x 6.5" tall When all blocks are completed, go to Overall Layout so you will know where to place each block. |
NOTE ABOUT PRINTING: Be sure your printer is set to print at 100%. If "Shrink to fit" or "Fit to page" etc. is selected, YOUR PATTERN PIECES WILL NOT PRINT TO THE CORRECT SIZE. Every pattern page lists one or more dimensions. CHECK YOUR PRINTED PATTERN FOR ACCURACY OF SIZE. |

Instructionsuse 1/4 " seam allowances; press between stepsIMPORTANT: Remember to square down all blocks and segments of blocks. 1. Lay out fabric pieces. |
2. Stitch together pieces of row 1 (pieces 1 A-E). |
Refer to following photo for stitching 1D to 1E. The photo shows the proper line-up of pieces for sewing. Notice that each piece overhangs on one end. Notice where stitch line crosses edge of fabric. When opened, the pieces will line up properly. You need to have a good understanding of creating points for this piece. |
3. Stitch together pieces of row 2 (2A and 2B). Refer to the photo in step 2. Sew the three rows together to complete the block. Square down the block to 10.5" wide x 6.5" tall. |
