I combined three images to create this scene. I took a photo of a beautiful sky in my back yard. I also took photos of trees in my neighbor's yard. I loved the way the trees twisted. They reminded me of the weathered, twisting trees along the Oregon Coast. I live in the Southwest desert now. It is beautiful, but I sometimes miss the ocean. I decided to paint a peaceful scene featuring this beautiful tree, the pretty sky, and the ocean. I am providing the pattern here, to go with my free video that is offered on my Youtube Channel. SUPPLIES

All paints used are listed in the video.

Download the pattern (jpg file). Enlarge or shrink to fit your needs. After painting in your background, follow the instructions provided in the video to trace the tree onto your canvas.

Optional: When your painting is completed and thoroughly dry, apply a coat of varnish. I use Liquitex Gloss Medium And Varnish (or matte finish).
